Food Allergen Labelling & Awareness

This practical course focuses on the changes required to comply with the regulations that that came into force on 13th December 2014 giving attendees an understanding on their legal duty with regard to allergen control in a food business. It also aims to help them understand how to control allergy contamination in the workplace and the importance of communication between team members and customers and the consequences when this breaks down.

Trainer: Terri Stigwood

Our lead trainer Terri Stigwood is a qualified teacher and Food Safety Consultant. Terri has been delivering food safety training for over 12 years working within all areas of catering including childcare; elderly care; homeless people; large and small scale manufacturing and assisted many small start-up businesses.

Terri has developed unique resources to assist with learning and language difficulties and uses an individual training style to ensure everyone feels at ease and so enjoys the learning process. She has coached people through all levels to become trainers themselves.
